Where did August go???

Now I really didn't think I would need this post, but needless to say since school started for me on August 4th (inservices for a week!) we have been really, really, busy. And when I'm not busy (ha!) I'm trying to sneak in a nap :) So, blogging has not been on my to do list for awhile, but I'm taking pictures, so I need to journal some about them, first of all to share, and to also take a minute here and there to remember all we have and all I am thankful for... a pretty healthy family, jobs that allow us to have things and do fun things together, and hopefully some friends who still want to check in and see how we are doing! :) Some fun we've had since my last posting:

Starting a new school and a new job! Well, not sure how fun starting back to work is, but it's a great school (for both of us!) St. John the Apostle Catholic Church... I am teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math, as well as helping run Student Council! Kids are great, but getting back into the swing of things WITH 2 kids in tow has been quite the adjustment!

Kenna waiting in my room :)

The circus!!! Went with my sister and her family, and it was great! We went when Adelyn was about 18 months, and it was time to go again! Yummy dinner at QDoba before and the girls didn't beg for cotton candy!

Meredith and Peyton with my girls!
We still think the elephants are the best :)

But the best part by far this year, was Joel got called down to be in the circus! He and 3 other dads got picked by the clowns (we were about 3rd row on the floor, so they spotted him easily!) and we got to wonder for about 30 minutes what they were going to have them do... Turns out it was a big game of musical chairs! This video is towards the end, but of course all the dads made it til the end, then they had the perform a "magic trick" which even they didn't know about!! Joel is in the light blue shirt on the right side... was too funny!

Pool party at our neighbors! Great Labor Day bash - the girls have gotten better with swimming but I'm still more comfortable with them in life jackets! They are loving the water though, so I am hoping by next summer I might have some free swimming fish :)

Well we are ready for fall, cooler weather, and much more family fun together... Kenna's birthday is coming up, lots of festivals and fun events at school, and of course, the hunt is already on for Halloween costumes :)
