Summer fun while Joel is away!

So my true mommy skills were put to the test when Joel was in California for 8 days for a conference for his new job! We definitely tried to stay busy while trying to stay out of this heat!

It was a busy week and I should have taken more pictures, but had my hands full! :) Made for a fun week, but we were certainly happy when Papa got home. :)

Happy 3 months Jackson!!

My sweet boy! Loves to giggle and try and stand up on my tummy! The jury is still out on who he looks the most like, but I see Adelyn a bit, and certainly some Joel :) He is much bigger than the girls were at this age, and is probably going to be tall like his Papa... love you baby boy!!

Swim lessons at Chisolm Park

Well after much debating on where to take swim lessons this year (debating cost, times available, location, etc!) we decided to go to the Hurst aquatics center at Chisolm Park. The girls loved it! Their teachers were great, and it is sort of set up like a small water park, so free Fridays were extra fun!

Kenna's level 1 Class - she moved up to Level 2 in the second session! Her favorite teacher? John! :)
On Fridays the parents got to walk around and see what the kids had been learning... joel is trying to stay out of the shade here behind the green pole :) He is watching our crazy can't stand still Adelyn! She is a water nut!!
