On Christmas Eve we headed east to Mammy's house at Holly Lake (near Tyler - sort of) for Christmas with Joel's family! The whole crew was there, so it was great to catch up with everyone.
Since there were so many people we stayed in a rental house in the neighborhood, but at least Santa still found us!
Both Joel and I got some golf in, the girls got to play with their cousins (except KK who came down with strep!), and although we didn't catch up much on sleep it was a nice visit! ;) Highlights of the trip were seeing Adelyn help Pa and Joel clean up leaves
in the backyard,
Kenna's excitement for her new Mickey Mouse stuffy (I have never seen her run so fast for a 'thank you' hug!), and Adelyn's quest to find any phone she could and talk on it!
Oh, and Kenna's gingerbread house!
I certainly had Santa's little helpers this year - they were all about passing out the gifts and checking to see what everyone got!
The girls also loved driving around looking at the lights, including the house with 30 light-up deer - quite a sight!
